January 7th

Ok so today I called Unum the company that Cummins uses for they short term disablilty claims. I let them know that I was not released and that I would fax them all the papers I had and would call the doctor to send them my records. I did find out that the stint is not stuck. Thank goodness. I also cleaned the house up really good for the weekend with Bailey, Toby's beautiful daughter. I also called dad to find out about the truck and he was still working on getting the starter out. Busy day but quiet. When the kids get out of school I have to meet Brent to drop off the kids. Then I met Toby at IHOP with Bailey for dinner. Good day compared to the past two.....

January 6, 2011

Today I have an appointment with the doctor that is taking care of the paperwork for my work and my first line for medical care. I have had this doctor since I was a child, but he all the way up in Indianapolis so I thats why I went to the doctor down in Nashville closer to home. So I go out to start the truck that should be running like a dream and..... Nope its dead. So I have to charge it. It gets going and off I went to Greenwood. Karter fooled me into thinking that he maybe sick so I kept him home with me so we both went up to the doctor. With the truck running funny I probably would not have went but I had to get the paperwork to return to work for Monday. We got up there ok and we were running early so we stopped at McDonalds on Main Street off the interstate. Right away I knew we might have trouble with the truck.. I was right. It was dead really dead.... No lights no nothing. I called the doctors office and they would fit me in when they could. My appointment was at 10:15. We got to Mcdonalds at 9:45. I called everyone and no one was home, of course, I called Toby and he was at work and he couldn't get out of work unless I really couldn't find some one. While I was on the phone with him Mom and dad beaped in. Mom has hand surgery at 2:00 so dad came up and got me but he couldn't stay, so I called my Aunt Gayle. Dad got up to Greenwood at 11:00 and I got to the doctor by 11:25. The appointment went rough. He wouldn't release me to work, not knowing where the stint could be and wondering about all the weight loss, working wasn't an option. I had blood work and an x-ray by the time that was all takin care of it was after 2:00. I called aunt Gayle and she came up to get us. We took off and had to pick up the past two other kids at school way down south of Nashville. We would have made it to the school on time but there was an accident on the interstae and I called the school to tell them at they would have to go to after school. We finally made it down to the school then poor aunt Gayle had to take us back up to my mom and dads where we would have to wait for them to get back from moms hand surgery. So the time is now 4:30 and we head up to the McDonalds to get the truck. It started to snow! Urgh! Dad worked out in the cold to try and work on the truck to see if we could get it started. No luck so I called a tow truck, well cause of the snow the tow truck would be 2 hours out. In the mean time dad took the alternator out and had it tested and it wasn't the alternator, not the battery so we both figured it was the starter. The tow truck got there at about 8 and we headed down to mom and dads. I left the truck there and drove moms van down home. Finally the day was over. Kids to bed, shower, and rest. Its going to busy day tomorrow....

January 5th

Today I have an appointment with the new doctor closer to home. I have been taking the kids there and I am really comfortable transferring my medical care to the new office. I went out to start the truck and it wouldn't start. So I jumped it and took off. The appointment went well although I have loss almost 30lbs in less then 3 weeks so she gave me some RX for nausea and pancreatic enzymes and some acid reducers. I hope it works.:) I go out to the truck and of course it wouldn't start so I have to go to 3 other businesses to find some one to help me jump it. I finally got it started and then drove it straight to Wal-Mart to get a new battery. I also decided to get the oil changed and new windshield wipers. I really thought that would solve my car issues. I got groceries and returned home. I thought today was a crazy day but just wait to hear about tomorrow.

January 4th

Ok sorry about the catching up to do...

On January 4th, the kids went back to school today. It was quiet and wonderful. I got a ton of phone calls done and house work. Still not eating but I go to the doctor tomorrow and I am hoping that some meds will help. I really hoped that the surgery would take care of the problem, it may be that the stint is still in so tomorrow I will find out. No photo today, no one wants to see my laundry. lol

January 3, 2011

Today Toby went back to work. So up early to get him off to work. lol I havent seen 5:30am for a long time. Today we waited for the mail in hope that my paycheck was coming. Since I am still off my checks come in the mail, and that a little unpredictable. We finished cleaning house, and the check came and we were off to use all the gift cards we got from Christmas. My Grandma Lucy gave us movie tickets (which I thought was such a great idea), Aunt Gayle gave the kids Wal-Mart gift cards, and Grandma Jerrie gave us McDonalds.
So we all packed up and went to see Yogi Bear. Cute Movie!! I really liked it. Then the toy section of Wal-Mart. I was wearing down very quickly so we made it a quick trip to Mcdonalds. Then home in time for the Bachlor and bed time. It was a fun day with the kids. They were so good through Christmas break with all the shuffling around after my surgery and helping me around the house after things settled down. I am so blessed with wonderful understanding children. Love them tons!! So the pic for the day is from our camping trip to McCormicks Creek with Aunt Gayle and Uncle Charlie over the summer. We had so much fun.

Ok So today is Sunday the 2nd day of the year and so far I have kept all my resolutions lol. I went to church today, something I would like to do every Sunday as long as I could find a church that I am happy with. I think I have found it. I had Lana pick me up (my next door neighbor) so I couldn't back out. It was wonderful. I absolutely loved it!! It was wonderful. I can't say enough to explain the feeling of finding a church that I can make my home. The people were great but most of all the overall structure of the church body was exactly what I was looking for. The praise band was simple, not over the top, they weren't putting on a show but a worship service. The sermon was done by the youth minster and it was well studied and structured. Thank you New Life Community Church I will be back.

After I got home from church and started cooking for our little football game. So the picture is from some of the food I cooked. :)

Happy New year!!! Ok so I have started taking photos of the day starting with the First of the year. I would also like to provide a little bit of "daily gossip" maybe? I don't know exactly what to call it but to those who read it will get it. I really did start yesterday but didn't get the chance to post so really this is a post for yesterday. I will figure out how to change the date soon :)

So yesterday was 1/1/11, cool date. The day was quiet. The kids spent the night at my mom and dads for a couple of reasons, first they wanted to spend time with them and second I took a turn for the worse on Thursday and started having lots of pain not only when I eat but all the time. To go back about 2 weeks I had an ERCP done at IU Medical in Indianapolis. It really didn't go like the last time. It took longer and was a ton more painful. Ok anyway back to yesterday the First day of the year. No kids, No work, and the house is still clean from earlier from the week so I did nothing it was GREAT! My man Toby took me out to dinner at Chili's, I had some pain meds and was pretty doped up but it tasted amazing! I hadn't ate out in over 3 weeks and these days that is unheard of. It was so nice not to have to cook or clean up. Then Toby took me to Wal-Mart so I could get groceries for our little football party today for the COLTS. A nice evening to let the meds and food digest and watch a movie.

Ok so the first photo of the year is from Toby and I's walk. We bundled up and went for a little walk in the back yard, it was nice to get some sun and fresh air. So thats when I took our photos.
