January 13th

Ok so the day didn't go as well as I hoped but better then the past few. I did get my mom and dads van stuck in the yard. I simply tried to get out of the driveway and ended up in the yard. Good news is I didn't hit anything. Dad came and towed me out, but only after he almost got stuck. Dianes appointment went well, but she isn't. Moms appointment went well also. We joined up with my aunt in Franklin and ate lunch, then fought the crowd at Speedway for gas at $2.85 a gallon. Everywhere else it was going up to $3.01. Crazy gas prices!!! Then I got the truck fix and its home!! What a relief. Will be making tons of phone calls tomorrow to try and locate my check that should have been here 4 days ago....

January 12th

Today I was able to get ahold of KLM and they were able to give me the right codes to start my truck.. Finally, I wish they could have done that before I got stranded in Greenwood, late for the doctor, had to find 2 rides all over GODS green earth, paid a tow bill, and had my dad tied up working on it for a week... but it starts :) I also found out today that CMEP is going to add a third shift and unless they have enough volenteers I will back on third. Its still better than third at FSP cause of the kids but a bummer non the less. Still no check in the mail. I did manage to get 1000 calories down today, but probably burnt them off bringing wood up to the house and shoveling snow. I really hope that the kids go back to school tomorrow. I am going to take my sister up to her doctor appt. tomorrow at Community North Hospital. Really hoping that it goes as planned :)

January 11, 2011

Yuck... Today was rough. Still can't get my truck going. Still no paycheck and no answers from Cummins. Snow day so the kids are cooped up with me in the house. My sister is having a really hard time with her back surgery recovery. Bills due and had to ask for help (which I am not good at at all). Looking forward to getting back to work but with enzyme levels raising it may have to wait. A really rough day. I really hope I get some good news tomorrow..

We did get a ton of snow and the roads are really bad. I took this photo and sent in to WISH-TV... We had 5 1/2 by the end of the evening. This photo was taken at 10 am

January 10th

Ahhhh Monday....

Today I was expecting my check to come from Cummins. It would have my Christmas Holiday pay and my Bonus from the Contract. So a nice check didn't come. With the coming snow I really wanted to stock up on Milk and other essentials. Oh well.. I also got a call from the Doctors office that said that the stint was gone but my pancreatic enzymes were elevated. I also talk to the nurse to make sure that the proper paperwork was faxed to Unum. Dad worked on the truck over the weekend and checked the starter. He took it to a place in Columbus to be rebuilt but it was fine so we are both convinced that the problem is the security box from KLM. So I have to call them tomorrow to figure out what to do next.

January 9th

Today the kids and I got up early and went to church. I love this new church at we have found it was so much fun for the kids. Bailey had a great time I was a little worried cause she is so shy but the kids took her under their wings and she was fine. The rest of the day we played and picked up the house.

January 8th

So today was Saturday. Toby had to work so Bailey and I had the house to ourselves. We thought it would be fun to run in and have a quick lunch with Toby at work. It was so much fun, Toby was smiling so much he could barely eat. Then Bailey and I went shopping for some new clothes. It was a good day. I had to meet Brent to pick up the kids then we headed home for dinner. It was a good day.

January 7th

Ok so today I called Unum the company that Cummins uses for they short term disablilty claims. I let them know that I was not released and that I would fax them all the papers I had and would call the doctor to send them my records. I did find out that the stint is not stuck. Thank goodness. I also cleaned the house up really good for the weekend with Bailey, Toby's beautiful daughter. I also called dad to find out about the truck and he was still working on getting the starter out. Busy day but quiet. When the kids get out of school I have to meet Brent to drop off the kids. Then I met Toby at IHOP with Bailey for dinner. Good day compared to the past two.....
